Astro and Indigo

Elise and I have adopted 2 cats named Aster(which we modified to Astro) and Indigo. The day finally came when Elise got a pet! These cats are brothers from the same litter.

The guys have warmed up nicely and have been well behaved. Our furniture has so far survived 1 month in. Each cat desires food above all else. They will walk with you on every trip to the kitchen, leading you, reminding you that yes “it is dinner time” no matter what time it may actually be. We have found that a simple string makes for the best toy as each cat will chase and attack it ferociously, but only one at a time. They are very polite I suppose.

Occasionally they swat and hiss at each other. It generally seems like a sibling type dispute. We got 2 cats to allow them each a playmate and to prevent boredom turning into property destruction. Other times, they are very nice and cute together. You may get to see a rare cat cuddle if the mood is right.
