Rose Parade 2022

My parents came to visit for the Parade and New Year’s. We went all out by checking out the parade preparations the night before and during the tick of the clock to 2022. Tons of people were out on the street as floats were staged. We got to see them up close. We saw every flower and natural coating as we walked up the street.

After the midnight float show, we slept and got up early for the parade itself. We got a nice spot to stand right up next to the street and in the sun. It was cold enough to need jackets, hats, and gloves. There was a B2 flyover to start the parade. We saw every float, band, horse, and cleanup crew pass by us. The parade ended with several skydivers landing at TV corner. We saw it all and got to walk back home along closed roads.
